Introduction
 In this uncertain world, every business struggles to survive in
the highly competitive environment.

 Every step in business requires accurate decisions to withstand

in the market.

EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD IS THE REFLECTION OF A

DECISION YOU HAVE MADE. IF YOU WANT A DIFFERENT RESULT
MAKE A PERFECT DECISION
-WISDOM OF LIFE

 Adopting Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) for decision

making.

 To attain more accurate decision, incorporating Fuzzy set

techniques with MCDM.
Need of Fuzzy in MCDM

The decision makers strive hard to take a feasible decision due to

the existence of imprecise data and vague terms (qualitative data).

In past decades, only the criteria in quantitative forms were

considered for decision-making process but several factors that influenced
the decision in the form of qualitative aspects such as incomplete
information and imprecision preferences (Yang & Chen 2006) are not
taken into account during evaluation of the decision model.

To overcome this, the decision makers used the fuzzy set theory to
consider both qualitative and quantitative criteria to get the feasible
decision.
Various MCDM methods

1) Multi-Attribute Utility Theory

2) Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)
3) Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution.
(TOPSIS)
4) Analytic Network Process (ANP)
5) Fuzzy Set Theory
6) Case-based Reasoning
7) Data Envelopment Analysis
8) Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique
9) Goal Programming
10) ELECTRE
11) PROMETHEE
12) Simple Additive Weighting
Work expected before next review
