depicts the factors that determine

• Generally, the student applications to
four colleges in 2016 are influenced by
the factors that determine student
application.

• College A recorded the highest number
of applications from local students
(80%) because it had the highest
number of factors (4) that determine
student application (‘affordable fees’, a
‘strategic location’, ‘experienced
lecturers’, and ‘good academic
reputation).

• College B had the second highest
number of applications from local
students (55%) because of ‘affordable
fees’, ‘experienced lecturers’, and
‘campus social activities’).

• College C and D charted a higher
number of applications from foreign
students (75% and 95% respectively)
than College A (20%) and B (45%) as
College C & D have ‘hostel facilities’.

• Despite having the same number of
factors (3), College D had more foreign
students (95%) than College B (45%)
and College C (75%).
Conclusion
• In conclusion, the student applications
to four colleges in 2016 are influenced
by the factors that determine student
application.
