 Duolingo is the most popular language-learning platform and
the most downloaded education app in the world. The
company’s mission is to make education free, fun and
accessible to all. Duolingo is designed to feel like a game and
scientifically proven to be effective. In addition to its core
platform, the company created the Duolingo English Test
(DET), an affordable and convenient language certification
option that is accepted by over 200 universities. Duolingo
expanded beyond language learning with Tinycards, a
reinvention of flashcards designed to make studying fun.
 The app uses crowdsourcing to create new language courses

 Duolingo is a great example of a straightforward
language app. It’s really simple to use. You set up a
profile, choose your target language, set your weekly
goals (only if you’re brave enough) and off you go! I've

made up of modules (the circles in the screenshot below)
which are grouped to form skills.
 Duolingo dictates the order in which you need to
complete the different modules, with new modules
becoming active only once you’ve completed the
previous one. This is also the case with individual
lessons within each module. You need to complete
lesson 1 to be able to progress to lesson 2, and so
on. That said, Duolingo allows you to ‘test out of’
individual modules as well as groups of modules
(skills).

we are new users, then start registering a new account using
email, account Facebook or Twitter account. First, learning
procces, after completing registration, we will be directed to
choose what type of language we want to find. We will also be
invited to improve language skills through various tests such
as 2 basic test levels, phrases, food, animal names, phrases in
foreign languages, color names, conjunctions and various other
basic tests.
 In each language we will discuss, the language is
divided into 8 categories, each of which contains 15
different lessons. The initial process of learning will
certainly be filled with easy material with increasing
levels of difficulty. If we pass in some subject matter,
we will get a prize bonus for going up to the next level.
On each of the lesson tests in Duolingo, we have 4 lives
that must be returned so we don't have to go to the
initial test again.
 Second, friend feature, duolingo also
provides a friend feature that connects us
with other Duolingo users. We can compare
our scores with the scores of others we have
followed.

Third, duolingo shop, this one feature is very unique and exciting, like
inviting us to visit a equipment store while playing games. If we play a
lot of tests to get as many Lingot (currency in Duolingo), then we can
buy various items that will facilitate the learning process. There is an
"refill heart" item that will be added to one life automatically when we
answer the wrong test. And there are also other features as additional
clothing for the avatar that we use.a
