F-Secure : A WOMEN SECURITY APP

INTRODUCTION
Here we introduces an app which ensures the safety of women.
This helps to identify and call on resources to help the one out of
dangerous situations. This reduce risk and bring assistance when
we need it and help us to identify the location of the one in danger.
HOW WE CAME ON
THIS IDEA
Our group was always more inquisitive about security purpose
projects. We decided that our project will be security based.
We also wanted to make something for a social cause. So, we came up
with this idea of Women Security- F-SECURE
 WHAT IS ANDROID?
 It is open source software platform and
operating system for mobile devices.
 Based on Linux Kernel.
 Allows writing managed code in the JAVA
LANGUAGE and XML.
 Android has its own virtual machine i.e.
DVM(DALVIK VIRTUAL MACHINE)
Important features of android which we are using
in our
Activity:-An app:-
Activity is user screen one see when the app starts to execute. It is a combination of user interface by
XML and interaction to the Java files.
Activity=XML+JAVA

Text View:- The Android text view component is a View subclass, which is capable of showing text.

Edit Text:- Edit Text is a subclass of Text View with text editing operations.

Button:-Android button is a widget in Android to perform click event. It is either used to start an operation or to
submit the form data.

Intent:-Intent will act as a bridge to connect one activity to another activity(i.e. Multiple Activity).

View Flipper:-ViewFlipper is a subclass of ViewAnimator which is used for switching between views. It is an
element of transition widget which helps us to add transition on the views (i.e. changing from one view to
another).

Scope:-
This can be further developed into a app in which the women’s can send message to
their registered contact by shaking the mobile phone
When we feel that we are in emergency situation, for example traveling alone in the
Auto/Cab at night time we can use this application. In this app on one click we can
send our location to our family members. This system can overcome the fear that
scares every woman in the country about her safety and security. The application will
be able to send online as well as offline SMS to particular emergency contact
number in future.
 Conclusion:
Through study and analysis, the wireless automated
-
security system for women was studied. This app will
be useful for women, whenever they went outside alone.
It is practically possible one and economically comfort to
use.
