HOLY WEEK

PHILIPPIANS 2:6-11 ( NLT )

6 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God

as something to cling to.

7 Instead, he gave up his divine, he took the humble position of a

slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,
8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on

a cross.
9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,in heaven and on earth and

under the earth,

11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the

Father.

1In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was
with God, and the Word was God.
2 He existed in the beginning with God.
3 God created everything through him, and nothing was

created except through him.

4 The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his

life brought light to everyone.

14 Sothe Word became human and made his home among
us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we
have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only
Son.
John 10:31-33 ( ESV )
31 The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus
answered them, “I have shown you many good works from
the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?”
33 The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we

are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you,

being a man, make yourself God.”

John 5:18 ( ESV) This was why the Jews were seeking all
the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the
Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father,
making himself equal with God.
Jesus Christ Our Saviour

ROMAN 3:23-26(NLT)
23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s

glorious standard. 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes

us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus
when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. 25 For
God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are
made right with God when they believe that Jesus
sacrificed his life, shedding his blood.
ROMAN 6:23 ( NLT)
23 Forthe wages of sin is death, but the free gift of
God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
OUR RESPONSE

ROMANS 10:9-11 ( ESV )

9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus
is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart
one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one
confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says,
“Everyone who believes in him will not be put to
shame.”
"Father, I know that I have broken your
laws and my sins have separated me from
you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to
turn away from my past sinful life toward
you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid
sinning again. I believe that your son,
Jesus Christ died for my sins, was
resurrected from the dead, is alive, and
hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become
the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my
heart from this day forward. Please send
your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and
to do Your will for the rest of my life. In
Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
