The site benefits its surroundings in context of design, outlook and spatial
organization. The concept of mushroom columns have been derived from
Chhatrapati Shivaji airport, MUMBAI, which also adds the sense of
belongingness to the same.
Talking about the spatial planning, zoning of the site –
The site is divided into two phases
Phase 1 – future development of commercial building whose apt blocking has
been done with respect to the site orientation and its connectivity to the
amusement park and ISBT through a walkway plaza. FUTURE EXPANSION
Phase 2 – the functional space i.e. ISBT, has been planned on the
framework of axial planning defining the circulation of buses from its two
different points of entry and segregated parking, secondly the drop off
zone.
Both the phases have been interlinked with aptly designed green spaces

weaved with hardscape, in order to have quotient of aesthetics in the whole DRIVERS DORMITORY
space.
The commercial complex and hotel have been placed as such so that they FUEL STATION
have a clear and well defined connectivity with the drop off zone and the
bus lanes.
