Children with Autism(ASD) benefit from early diagnosis and intervention services. We examined referral source and chief concern for referrals for children diagnosed with ASD in an ethnically diverse, University Affiliated inner-city Center(N=346).Of 346, 155(45%) were referred by parents, 118(34%) by their pediatricians, and 73(21%) by others (Early Intervention, school, other agencies).
