WELDER

EXAMINER

• dengan OD >150 mm (PA, PB & PC)
• welds posisi PE plate, qualify pipe welds

Type Pengelasan

Butt welds qualify utk. butt welds apapun jenis joints-nya, kecuali
untuk sambungan bercabang (branch connection)

Jika paling banyak pengelasan Fillet, Welder dengan kwalifikasi Butt

Joint, harus mempunyai kwalifikasi Fillet.
Sebaliknya apabila paling banyak pengelasan Butt joint maka
welder dengan kwalifikasi Butt weld, qualified untuk Fillet Weld

Examination & Testing

Pengelasan test pieces harus di witness oleh examiner or
examining body

Testing-nya harus diverifikasi oleh examiner or examining body

Sebelum pengelasan dimulai, test pieces-nya harus ditandai

oleh examiner

Examiner or examining body boleh menghentikan test tersebut

bila kelihatan bahwa welder-nya tidak memiliki skill yang
memadai (contoh : terlalu sering repair)

Bentuk & Ukuran Test Pieces

Untuk pipa minimum panjang lasan yang diuji adalah 125 mm.
Apabila panjang total circum kurang dari 150 mm, maka
diperlukan tambahan test pieces maksimum 3 test pieces

PeriodQualification

Masa berlakunya sertifikat

Masa berlaku dari sertifikat welder ini adalah 2 tahun.

Jika tidak melakukan pengelasan selama 6 bulan berturut turut maka
Sertifikat dinyatakan Expired

Masa berlaku ini bisa diperpanjang setiap 2 tahun oleh Examiner or

examining Body, dengan syarat-syarat sbb:

Ada bukti record yang mendukung perpanjangan tersebut (misal :

identitas, dan traceability dari welder untuk pengelasan product.)

Ada record untuk NDE pada aktivitas pengelasan yang dilakukan

welder tersebut setiap 6 bulan.
