OBJECTIVES
 To provide considerable amount of
electricity which satisfies the small electrical
requirements for house even where the
power lines are not reachable
INTRODUCTION:
 Energy is important nowadays because of the increase in
population, energy needs have also been increased
exponentially. Energy should be used for essential needs
not for in-essential purposes. Till now, Electricity needs
of a home comes from the electric lines given by the
government and they produce it using conventional
methods such as Hydropower, Thermal power, e.t.c.
 As a supplement in homes, This Portable windmill tree
can be very helpful for getting a considerable amount of
electric energy. These energies can be used for various
small purposes. As it is handy, it can be taken to any
place, any time and you don’t need to worry about the
electricity as it is travelling with us the only requirement
is the flow of air.
METHODOLOGY
 Making a tree like structure to have many
branches each and every branch will have a
sub branch and at the end point of the sub
branch a rotating cylinder type Vertical wind
mill type. It will be modified in a way that
even air with very little velocity can able to
rotate the wind mill. It is planned to make 10
to 20 branches in a single wind Mill tree. So
that there will be increased wet area. More
wet area gives more exposure to the air, so
that the tree will get the maximum amount
of energy from the air.
PLAN
 Considering the air flow as little as 6m/s to
maximum velocity, the wind Mill tree is
designed so that it takes all the air around
itself and each small wind mill fixed in the
branches will rotate. The electricity generated
from each and every small windmills were
made to combined and the total energy is to
be saved in a rechargeable battery. This saved
energy can be used for several purposes based
on their needs. In remote areas this windmill
tree will be very useful as it can able to
produce enough power to glow a bulb.

APPLICATIONS
 Used in the remote areas for light
 Charging cell phones
 Providing replacement for UPS
 For street lights
 XI. FUTURE SCOPE
 Wind power is an affordable, efficient and abundant source of domestic
electricity. It is pollution free and cost-
 competitive with energy from wind tree plants in many reasons. The paper
first deals with the current scenario of the
 wind energy in India. Wind energy is available without any cost and it does
not emit any greenhouse gases. This makes
 it a great source of energy production for any developing state. The field of
wind energy has tremendous scope for
 innovation, translating to real world applications and tremendous economic
opportunity. It is crucially important for
 India, as our economy continues to evolve. For that we will need greater
resources. Clean, sustainable, renewable and
 equally important, domestic sources of energy are essential to fulfill the
potential of India in the coming years and it is
 certain that wind energy will play a major part in shaping India's future.
Wind power has emerged as the biggest source
 of renewable energy in the world.
