ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
• I have completed my internship from PIE INFOCOMM PVT.
LTD.

• PIE INFOCOMM PYT. LTD. is a software based company in

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

• Mr. Vijay Jaiswal is a founder of the company having the

years of experience to run the organization.

• I have done my internship under the guidance of Mr.

Vishwas Srivastava which was our mentor during the
internship.
WHAT IS BAKERY ORDERS DELIVERY
APP
• The project BAKERY ORDERS DELIVERY APP is a complete Ecommerce
LIVE project app

• It deals with online booking and free home delivery of variety of cakes,
pastries and cupcakes

• It is developed on the Android Technology using Android Studio Software

• The application also offers the midnight delivery of cakes for special
occasions

• It also has the facility of even cash on delivery which no other bakery
application provides
PROJECT OVERVIEW
• The Bakery Orders Delivery App is basically a mobile based
application used for the online booking of cakes, pastries and
cupcakes

• The application is developed on the Android technology with the

help the system software Android Studio

• With the help of this application a person can order the products
anytime from anywhere without worrying about the cost and the
area of delivery
ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
1. Functional Requirement

• Splash Screen: This activity displays the logo of the bakery for
some time.

• Login Page: Here the user or the customer can log into the
application. Customer can also login with the help of his/her
google or Facebook account.

• Registration Page: If a new customer is using the application

then he/she has to register first to log into the application.
• Main Page: This is the main page which shows the types of
products offered by the bakery along with the customization and
proper images displayed.

• Navigation Drawer: It is the drawer which provides access to

different pages and apps functionalities

• GridView Activity Page: This will contain the varitety of cakes,

cupcakes and pastries offered by the bakery arranged in the form
of the grid.

• Full Screen Activity Page: This page displays the complete

description of the selected product and to place the order by
giving the details of the weight, quantity etc. and add it to the cart.
• Orders Page: This page displays the orders made by the customer
in the past and the present orders which are yet to be delivered.

• Database Handler: In this project database handler handles the

total number of registered customers, types of cakes and their
prices according to weights and the orders placed by the
customers.

• E-mail and SMS confirmation: This activity involves the

confirmation of order by the customer with the help of e-mail and
SMS send to the customer on their registered e-mail ids and mobile
number.
• Payment Gateway Page: This will display the final payment to be
paid by the customers added in the cart and the mode of payments
available.

ADVANTAGES
 This app provides detailed information on bakery products such
as cakes, pastries etc.
 Users can set their profile with the help of this app. One can add
his/her favourites and get frequent notification related to the
specific product.
 Users can get notified about the charges as well as the offers
made by the bakery for their bakery products.
 It includes the GPS direction inbuilt so it becomes easy for users
to locate the bakery.
 It will also consume your time.
DISADVANTAGES
 We can’t perform the user customization, since
currently it is unavailable.

 The products mentioned in this app are initially

very limited. Since, currently it contains only the
cake products, pastries products and the cupcake
products only.
LIMITATIONS
 The main drawback is the region wise limitations i.e. the
source of this app means the store “THE HOUSE OF
BAKERY” is currently available in LUCKNOW region only.
