Colour rendering index of all lamps should be more than 85


Minimum allowable luminance(lamps) 2000 - 10000 cd/m2
Ceiling height 2.8 - 3 m
Preferred luminances : for Walls 80 -150 cd/ m2
Ceilings 100 - 200 cd/ m2
Task area 100 - 800 cd/ m2

 Distance between 2 rows should not be more than 1.5mX h m
 Between 2 luminaries 0.67X h m
 High intensity lamps need not be used
