INTRODUCTION
This project is about the design of a COOKIE CUTTER
MUZZLE BRAKE, to reduce the recoil force of a gun this is
based on the theory, law of action and reaction. This is
created with a large reflecting area to enlarge great
“reaction” to eliminate recoil force.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
• HARD STEEL is used to make the cookie cutter muzzle
brake.
• As high pressure is used to push the muzzle brake and to
create a force to cancel the recoil force, the material
should be strong enough to withstand the pressure.
PRINCIPLE OF WORKING
Based on basic muzzle brake theory: “Law of action and
reaction” i.e the force exerted by object 1 upon object 2 is
equal in magnitude and opposite in direction to the force
exerted by object 2 upon object 1.
