2014-2015 2015-2016 2016-2017 2017-2018 2018-2019

SY 2017 – 2018 has the highest number of dropout students. In SY

2018-2019, students who likely to dropout were enrolled in Open High
School Program.
Reasons for Dropping out in SY 2017-2018

Drop out rate in SY 2017-2018 reached up to 44 students. Twenty (20) are from
Grade 7, Twelve (12) are from Grade 8, Seven (7) are from Grade 9 and Five (5)
from Grade 10. Thirty – three (33) of these drop outs are males and the rest are
females.
The main reason of dropping outs of the male students especially in the Grade 7
is the addiction to Computer Games and the secondary is due to lack of
interests.
The main reasons of dropping outs of the female students are early marriage
due to pregnancy and the engagement to work and labor.
It is found out that the attitudes and the overlapping of the activities that disrupt
the classes hinder the students to attend to their respective classes as well as
the lack of parental follow up and support.
