Exchange is the act of obtaining a desired object


from someone by offering something in return.

Mass production: The
production concept of marketing
focuses on mass production. It
reduces per unit cost of
production and increases sales
volume.
Mass distribution: The
production concept of marketing
focuses on mass distribution. It
enhances distribution efficiency
and reduces distribution costs. It
also facilities wider ability of
products.
PRODUCTION CONCEPT
Low price: Price is regarded as a critical factor
in marketing. Consumers give high priority to
highly affordable product price than its quality.
Cost of production can be reduced through
mass production, mass distribution, and
improved technology.

Production efficiency: The production concept
of marketing gives emphasis on production
efficiency. there must be skilled, experienced,
and qualified human resource and modern
technology to improve production efficiency.

This concept works on an assumption that customers prefer


products of greater quality and price and availability doesn’t
influence their purchase decision. And so company develops a
product of greater quality which usually turns out to be
expensive.
SELLING COST

The selling concept holds the idea- “consumers will not buy
enough of the firm’s products unless it undertakes a large-
scale selling and promotion effort”.

The firm should analyze the needs of their customers and then
make decision to satisfy the needs, better than competition

Societal marketing concept states that marketers should deliver


products/services in such a way that it satisfies the needs of their
target consumers, requirements of the company and maintains
well being of the society at large.

acknowledges that everything matters in marketing. The


holistic viewpoint follows that systems—in this case
marketing—somehow function as wholes and that their

perspective is necessary in developing, designing, and
implementing marketing programs and activities.
