high school

INTRODUCTION
 The K-12 Program of the Government of the Philippines
implies the necessity of mandatory or required
kindergarten and additional two years compare to basic
education cycle which only has ten yearsto offer. Back
then, after finishing six years in elementary and four
years in highschool (approximately ten years)
immediately, the students can step through college.
Under K-12, before you can go college, you still have to
undergo additional two years after four years in
Highschool. This new system of adding two years is so
called Senior Highschool or Junior College. So, in
summary, the official name of 12 year basic education
under K-12 is Grade 1-12.
 Base on the study, the quality of education in
the Philippines is quite mediocre but in the
meantime, K-12 has a solution to give a high
quality of education in our country. In
Southeast Asia, Philippines is the only country
who still uses the 10 year Basic Education
Cycle (Others already had 11-12 year in their
basic education cycle).

 .The research will define on how k-12
program change the basic education we have
in our present generation and how effective it
is to students who have experience the
program.The result shows in the study that
the researcher conducted,that is the k-12
curriculum can help grade 12 student find
their job and prepare student to enter into
work in the industry and the performance of
the student improve
Statement of the problem

 many parents are opposed in this curiculum


because of additional
 expenses they might face when their children
experience this program

 The main purpose in this study is to find out the essence
of effectiveness of implementing kto12 program in senior
high school.
 1. What is the profile of the respondent in terms of:
 1.1 gender
 1.2 Age
 1.3 Strand
 2. Did the respondents have positive feedback on kto12
curiculum?
 3.have the knowledge and impormation increased in the
new "kto12 program
Significance of the study

 This study serves as the basis on determining the


development of the K-12 Program and its impact
to the students. This may widen student’s
awareness on what they ae going to encounter in
their future education especially in their
secondary education level – the Junior and Senior
High School. The result of this study can help the
students to be prepared in their secondary level.
 . The teachers will also be benefited in this
study for they can devise a new method on
how they are going to handle their students
and subjects they are going to teach. This can
enlighten the knowledge especially the
students regarding the system of K-12
program. This can be use as a related
literature of the other future.

Hypothesis of the study

 Hypothesis of the study


 There is no significant differences between
the kto12 program and basic education
curiculum in terms of effectiveness of
implementation to the grade 12 students.


 Scope and delimitation of the study
 -This study is aiming to learn the level of
effectiveness of K-12 in San Jose National
Highschool.The study will be performed in San
Jose National Highschool. The mentioned
school is enough for the researchers to
complete this study.The researcher will use a
survey questions for the students of San Jose
National Highschool to answer. The research
will be answered by this survey if K-12 really
become effective to us.
Methodology
 This chapter is showing the study of research
design,participants,instruments,and the
statistical treatment of data for getting and
gathering the data.The researchers used this
methods for valuing the data from the
respondents.

Research Design
 According to miller ksan (2003)The descriptive
evaluative is a kind of descriptive method that
is unique and unique form and is compatible
with the development , revolutionizing a
program and give some data to broader issues
and problems. Consequently,this study are
used a Descriptive Evaluative since the
subjects are used a Questionnaire
checklist,survey
 This is the one important way to gathering a
data from the respondents.The descriptive-
evaluative's helping the researchers to guided
for making and gaining the basis of the level
of effectiveness in implementing kto12
program in senior high students in San Jose
National High School
Research Participants
 This study of participants conducted by the
researchers are senior high schoo student in
sanjose National High School Antipolo,
Campus. The researchers will use a simple
random technique where it is the easiest way
to get the respondent.As senior high school
student , they are very helpful in
implementing the kto12 program that will
benefit the student studying at sanjose
national high school.

Research Instruments

 The instrument used by researchers in the


course of the study is a cheaklist given to
senior high school student of the sanjose
national high school .This cheaklist was used
in scale . And a survey will verify our
conclusion. We will furtheremore with
supporting detail.

Statical treatment of the data

 In achieving significant result of each process


contained in this study, the researcher have
corresponding procedure .
 1.To determine the sample of the
population,it used the slovin's formula
 2. To determine the profile of the participants
,it used as percentage and ranking.
 3. To determine the level of acceptance of the
participant, the worktext generated are based
on the performance and purposes.It used
mean
 4. To measure the signifance differences in
the level of acceptance of the participants,
based on different variables mentioned in
thier profile, the researcher use a one way
ANOVA.
Research Procedure

 The researcher took research replication in
various branches of school to compare
lessons similar to underlie learning. And
enable to be guide for creating in whole
research.And the researcher finds the teacher
who were validate of the research question
and also finds other professional teacher that
gives of what are additional ideas and
concepts

CONCLUSION

 It can be conclude that the implementation of
kto12 curriculum is successful and efective to
the grade 12 student in San jose National High
School.
 1. The kto12 curriculum can help the grade 12
student find their job or prepare student to
enter into work in the industry.
 2. The performance of the student's improve.
RECOMMENDATION
 -The survey suggest many things as the
analyzation we've done so far. We conclude,
based on the survey, the reliability of the
teachers and the sensibility of K-12 program
got the lower scores, which implies that it
doesn't improve a lot.
 1. The researcher recommend that the school
should improve their method of teaching
because some teachers might really
unreliable because of lack of experience
through the subject.
 2.Researcher recommend dissemination of
additional information about K-12 by giving
seminars and homeroom discussions. It will
help the students to understand the purpose
of K-12, not just to give an additional years of
learning but also to train students to become
more prepared and decide what they want
when going outside highschool.

ABSTRACT

 The researchers would like to conduct the study which


focuses on the level of effectiveness in implementing k-
12 curriculum to grade 12 students in sanjose national
high school .the proponents would like to state the
hypothesis, variables, intrepretation and analysis of the
data.This study will show case the difference between 10
yrs.basic curricum and k-12 curriculum.This research
study will be conducted during the academic year 2018-
2019
 .The research will define on how k-12
program change the basic education we have
in our present generation and how effective it
is to students who have experience the
program.The result shows in the study that
the researcher conducted,that is the k-12
curriculum can help grade 12 student find
their job and prepare student to enter into
work in the industry and the performance of
the student improve
