S Each one has 3 components (even if not obvious).
S RULE OF 3!!!!!
S Each Question will test a different skill AND a different time
period.

S You will practice so many of them it will become natural to
you.
Requirements

S Must be specific (think it might be on reading guide/vocab list)

S Must be explained to answer the question.

S Must be short (it is not a thesis).

S Must answer the question


S AP: Time period, content, context
SAQ Formula (3 Sentences)

Sentence 1: Restate prompt inserting specific answer (could be


a word, person, concept etc).

Sentence 2: provide definition/explanation of what your


specific answer is.

Sentence 3: Explain HOW/WHY this specific answer answers


the prompt given.
Hints

S You will only have one sheet of paper for three parts.

S Indent

S Don’t write too much.

S Think of it as throwing a punch.

S Must be specific AND plausible.


S Ie MLK helping with slave revolts in the early 1800’s is NOT plausible.
