normally right or wrong, as well as the values
on what we believed to be morally good or

humans as well as animals and the
environment.

Characteristics of moral
standards:
1. Deal with matters that we think
can seriously injured or benefit
humans, animals, and the
environment.
2. Not established or changed by
the decisions of authoritative or
bodies;

precedence over other standards
and considerations, especially of
self-interest;
4. Based on impartial
consideration;
5. Associated with special
emotions and vocabulary.

 Non-Moral Standards
It refers to standards by which we
judge what is good or bad and right or wrong
in a non-moral way. By the definition itself, it
clearly refers non moral standards as the
counterpart of moral standards. In non-
moral standards, a violation of which does
not impose any treats on human being. Not
like moral standards which can seriously
impact, either benefit or injure human being.
