METHODOLOGY

Research Design

The study will use the descriptive survey method. According to Zikmond et al(2010),
Descriptive survey method is a conjoint technique which focuses to the objective of the study, the
standing data was sourced, the status, the decision and the cost of obtaining the data was
determined, which method should be chosen. Descriptive methods is also distinguished as a
statistical research which describe dates feature about the population or the phenomenon being
studied; it is used for the frequencies, average and the statistical phenomenon. It compacts with
everything that can be studied and counted.

Respondents

There will be 50 Parents of Grade XI and Grade XII Senior High School students of
Samson Polytechnic College of Davao of the school year 2019-2020 considered as respondents of
this study.
Research Instruments

It’s Preparation. The researchers prepared for their thesis title and statement of the problem for making
the questionnaires before producing some copies for the validation purposes.

Validation. The researchers submit their final form of their questionnaire to their adviser for the final
validation.

Revision. The items adviser give a go-signal to the researchers for the reproduction of the survey
questionnaires, adequate and clear copies were printed to avoid problems in the administration.

Administration. The researchers administered the questionnaires personally to the juvenile delinquents
they serves as the respondents of the study and they are requested the researchers to answer the questionnaire
honestly so that valid reliable data would be elicited. One hundred percent (100%) of the questionnaires were
retrieving.

Scoring. The completed questionnaires were a hard scored by the researchers to avoid biases. The result
were collated and tabulated by the researchers personally before proceeding to the statistical treatment.

Research Procedure
The following data gathering procedures will be observed by the researchers seeking permission to conduct the
study. The investigators will seek the approval of the Principal through the major subjects of the Electrical
Installation and Maintenance Senior High School Department for allowing us in conducting the study.
