• in the inspection and assessment of drug manufacturing facilities
• in the assurance of product quality throughout the distribution chai
• in drug procurement agencies

consultants and sources of information for
healthcare professionals (Gade, 2003)
 Pharmacists are the most accessible and
trusted health care profession (Pharm
Med, 2002; Europe Readers’ Digest, 2008)
 Good communication creates better
management of drug use and increase
patient satisfaction (Schomer, 2000)
 More contacts, more roles for pharmacists
(Jones, 2000; Narhi, 2001; Worley, 2007)
