 The Feeling Of Patriotism
• Patriotism is the feeling of love and devotion for one’s country and a
sense of alliance and brotherhood with its citizens.
• It is to unconditionally support and respect the nation.
• It develops naturally and is important for the protection of a country’s
culture and historical heritage.
• It is to take pride in representing one’s nation.
Importance of patriotism in life
• Common good: accepting responsibility to work together with other
members of the community for the welfare and progress of the
nation. Everyone shares equal right here and the progress and
development of every single individual led to the development of our
country.
• Loyalty: patriots are loyal to their motherland. It is like being loyal to
the family. A family would break if we have internal disputes and are
not loyal to one another . Same way it is important to remain loyal to
our nation
• Love and affection: it includes the love and affection for the people
and being united even in diversity
• Equal rights: A patriot will always participate in the activities which is
for the welfare of his community it lends strength to the people of the
nation
• End of evils: patriotism must be seen in every action of the citizen we
must not indulge in the unlawful act such as paying less tax, seeking
bribe, and other corrupt activities
• Philanthropic act: serving our fellow citizen is the best we can do. It
is to voluntarily act to improve the quality of life of people around
Youth in country’s development
• Youth don’t want to destroy the culture but want to change with the
changing time and that’s what progress is.
• Youth is ready to accept western culture and ideas that benefits our
society
• Want to develop the nation not only economically but also culturally
• They are more thoughtful, supportive and appreciative towards the
natives of their community
• Patriotism is seen among them in socio-economic and political terms
• Well educated, independently vote for their ideal leaders
• Capable of criticizing and questioning when required
 Conclusion
Youth wants the country to be a safe and better place where they can
live freely. they want their voice to be heard understood and accepted
in the society. They love the country and want to work in the favour of
the nation and its people.
If we do not have patriotic feeling then who is going to step forward to
eradicate social evils or fight for the country?
