Developmental disability
refers to a severe, chronic
disability of a child five
years of age or older that
is:
1. Attributable to a mental or physical
impairment
2. Manifested before the person attains age

limitations in three or more of the
areas of major life activities
5. Reflects the persons need for a
combination and sequence of
special care, treatment or other
services
