VERTICAL CITY
• A Vertical city is an entire human habitat contained in a massive
skyscraper. It is an arrangement of interconnected mega towers that are
environmentally friendly, self-sustaining and capable of providing a
dignified life for 100s-of-thousands of people. By building Vertical Cities
we can save energy, support our growing population and preserve our
land for food production, nature and recreation.

• Vertical cities hold the key to solving overpopulation and overcrowding.


Rather than destroying forests and swamps to build houses, shopping
centers, and factories, they can be placed in a vertical tower, serving to
preserve the environment.

AIM OF VERTICAL CITY
• The aim of Vertical Cities is to take the specific nature of densely packed
high-rise buildings into account. For the first time, this scheme pulls
together criteria relating to urban district certification and building
certification under a common umbrella.

MUSEUM OF ARCHITECTURE
• Famous works done by the different architect needs to be documented
and displayed to people for them to understand the buildings
surrounding them.
• This project consists of displays of works of architect from different era.
• It will also deal preservation or architectural drawings of famous
buildings. It will also act as an educational center for aspiring architects
by means of space designed for lectures and competition to be held.
NEED OF THE MUSEUM
• In India people are unaware that how important architects contribution
is in developing the society.
• For better understanding of buildings around us it is important to design
a space where multiple architects work is preserved, researched and
exhibited on permanent basis thus providing the need to facilitate such a
museum of architecture where students, architects and common people
can understand, study and analyze the works and the relies for better
understanding of their built environment.
• Exhibition of works of different architects can serve as a time capsule of
human history and human thought. Architecture is a powerful reflection
of human culture and therefore needs to be exhibited to strengthen the
connection between people and their built environment.
• It is essential to display how architecture responds to society’s functional
needs while making use of modern technology in building design. The
global population is not only growing but also urbanizing at a rapid rate.
AIM OF MUSEUM
• The purpose of the museum is to showcase the work of important
national and international architects and to create a timeline for visitor of
how building around them have evolved from past and give them a
better understanding of how it can be further developed.
OBJECTIVE OF THE MUSEUM
• To showcase different architects work at one place .
• Promotion of better architecture and built environment.
• Helping everyone understand and appreciate the potential of
architecture and design.
• Encouraging public engagement and demand for excellence in art,
design and architecture.
• To create a knowledge hub for aspiring architects.
• Preserving architectural drawings and models of famous architects.
• To educate architecture students about various types of structures.
• To design a space which can serve as a center where aspiring architects
can get better knowledge of their subject and can understand its
importance.
SCOPE OF MUSEUM
• This project covers all types works done by different architects on a
national and international level.
• It covers display of drawings as well as models of famous buildings.

LIMITATION OF MUSEUM
• This project covers display of only architectural works.
