The Book contains the hand written letters of Netaji at different points in his life which reveal the
profound layers of his personality and his transformation into a true nationalist from the pain bore
during time spent in Prison.
The book contains references of his political philosophy where he dreamed of India as an
independent Federal Republic instead of a Central state as he advocated popular sovereignty,
citizenship rights and a system of joint electorates.
He shunned the privileges based on birth, caste or creed and promoted the equality among all and
emphasised upon raising the Women status in the society in taking up larger and intelligent
interest in public affairs.
The Book covers his transformation from a leader into a statesman, when he learned about British
and European history and politics in his enforced exile.
The book also covers his love interest Emilie, an Austrian women. In his Azad Hind movement, he was
very adept at demonstrating by example the Hindu-Muslim unity and a respectful status of women in
Public affairs, the two ideals he made his life commitment.
