Mechanical Engineering branch is one of the oldest branch
successfully run for last two decades at our premises.
Morethan 2500 students have graduated from Anand
Engineering College and working all around the globe in
mnufacturing, maintenance, service power plant, electricity
board organizations. They have reached to a remarkable
position in the reputed company of public and private sector.
Mechanical engineering deal with design, analysis testing,
manufacturing, control, operation and maintenance of
deferent machinery, instruments and machine tools.
It also deals with the process of energy conversion from
thermal to into useful work energy, conversion of non
conventional resources of energy into a useful mechanical
work like solar, tidal etc.
Mechanical Engineering contributes in nation building
through its share in GDP by manufacturing and services.

Anand Engineering College, keetham, Agra established in the year
1998 is the best engineering college in Northern India. The
college is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi; affilated to Abdul Kalam
Technical University, Lucknow

Department is equipped with qualified, senior and experienced

faculty members who are either doctorates or post graduated.

Industry institute integration Cell helps students to understand

and relate academics in the perspective of local industry to
enhance knowledge acquisition and skill enhancement for real
time requirement of the industry.

Training & Placement Cell always upgrades the aptitude and

personally to make them employable in a good organization

We had placement of 87% for past three years students who have
passed and till now more than 95% students are placed

Our Department has an MOU with Prakash Diesel Industry, Dabur
Industry involved in Generator Manufacturing and leather
manufacturing respectively.

Department has established an state of art Engine Testing

Laboratory accrediated by NABL (National Accreditation board for
Laboratories) and applied for BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).

Department has Universal Testing Machine of 40 tones, Computer

Aided Milling Machine (Trainer) & profile projector for
measurement and testing.

Students of the department have developed 3-D printer & muffle

furnace.

Students got placed in HITACHI @ Package of 6.00 Lpa. through

students chapter ISHRAE.
