Background of the study

Comfort rooms is one of the most important as part
of the school. In the first place, the comfort room was
in a good condition and have enough water. Few days
of the class and because of undisciplined students, the
comfort room become dirty and a lot of vandalism of
bad thoughts ( Divinagracia, 2016).
 Problem and Purpose Statement
• Comfort rooms is one of the most important as part
of the school. Unclean comfort room, bad smell, wet
and dirty floor and water shortage. This problem
makes students, also the teachers worry about their
health. This problem can cause different kinds of
diseases.
• We conduct this research to alert the people in CPAC-
A to be aware of their surroundings. Especially, in the
comfort rooms, they must maintain cleanliness in the
comfort room to avoid diseases.
 Research Questions

• How do we keep cleanliness in our comfort

room?
• Why should School's comfort rooms be cleaned?
• What is the effects of unclean comfort room to
the students?
 Scopes And Limitations
This research will be focused on the cleanliness of
the comfort rooms in the campus of Central Philippine
Adventist College-Academy (CPAC-A).Due to short span of
time, the data collection will only conducted with selected
convenient senior high school students of the said school
because the researchers believe that they can provide the
best information about this problem.

Significance of the study

• Students- it will show their level of comfortability and
discipline upon using comfort rooms
• Parents/Guardians- make them aware of their
children situation with the usage of Comfort Room
• Teachers- provide awareness so that they can
propose an immediate solutions to the said problem
 CHAPTER ll
• Maintaining proper hygiene is important to attain
good health-personally, socially or psychological. It
includes discipline in toilet hygiene. Lack of cleanliness,
especially at school, can cause a short-term or even
serious illnesses that could affect student's academic
performance. However, conducting appropriate
hygiene with enough awareness and encouragement
could lead unto improving not just one's health but
confidence and self-esteem, too.
CHAPTER lll
METHODOLOGY
Research Design
The researchers will utilize case study research
for examining about a specific condition or problem.
This research focuses about the condition of comfort
rooms.
A Case Study can be defined as an intensive
study a person, a group of people or a unit which is
aimed to generalize over several units. A case study has
also been describe as an intensive systematic
investigation of a single individual, group, community
or some other units (Heale, 2018).
Research setting
The Research will conduct a research study around
the campus of Central Philippine Adventist College-
Academy. This is an Adventist school and provide
internet connections that can be a big help for the
researchers.
Sampling
In conducting the research, the researchers will do
a convenience sampling technique. It is where that the
researchers select participants that is readily available at
that time, they give their different opinions in the
researchers study.
Data collection Procedures
The major sources of data collection in conducting the
research are interview and experience. Interview is
formal meeting when information obtained while in
experience is using the unclean comfort room and
give opinions about it.
Summary
In this chapter we discussed about what research design
are we going to use, the possible setting and
respondents where we going to conduct a research
study, the sampling, and the data collection Procedures.
We are all chosen this correspondingly that is applicable
to our research study entitled " THE Importance of
Discipline In Hygiene: A Case Study Regarding The
Cleanliness of Unclean Comfort Room". We also include
the instrumentation and ethical consideration where we
discussed our topic when we conduct a interview.
