Introduction

After successful completion of Reliability Test Run of the unit in accordance to the
design ( Technical Agreement), perform unit handing over and taking over process
by the contractor & the customer , with out any / agreed deviation in design or
quality.

• Field Quality Plan

 Detailed document that sets forth practices and sequence of


activities aimed at translating an organization’s quality policy into
operational results or conformance to a standard such as ISO 9000
or higher within a specified timeframe.,

• P&ID ( Approved )

 A Piping and Instrumentation Diagram - P&ID, is a schematic


illustration of functional relationship of piping, instrumentation and
system equipment components.

• Customer Training
 Customer training and education can have one of the most profound impacts of any
training initiative on an organization. In fact, customer training and education is one
of the only initiatives that can show a direct relationship to increased sales, product
adoption, and customer service., and by improving access to product information so
customers know how to get the most from your products and services.

• Walk down, Punch list & Protocol


 A punch list is a list of tasks which need to completed to satisfy the terms of a
construction contract. Punch lists may be included in the contract itself, but more
commonly, they are generated in the final phases of construction, as people walk
around the site and note down any issues and deficiencies which need to be resolved.

 A document that records the activities and results of the


Commissioning Process.

• System / unit start ups

 Map optimal time for different start ups

• Performance & trends

 To maximize performance, the control system has to be tested and


tuned initially during commissioning.

Transfer of ownership..,

• Functional test
 Testing of all features and functions of a system to ensure the system
requirements and specifications are met.

• Trial operations
 The successful continuous & trouble free running of equipment's and system
with seventy two hours of continuous running on full load.

• Demonstrating the capabilities of major equipment's

 The operation capability to be demonstrated as a part of contract and to


evaluate the performance of the major equipment's during transient conditions.
Transfer of Ownership..,

• Unit Flexibility test


 The ability of the power for fast response to adjust with the demand

• Reliability Test Run


 Reliability test run conducted over an extended period of days or weeks to
demonstrate the capability of the power plant to produce a specified minimum
output level or availability.

• Safe Operation
 safe operation in case of an emergency & protection of the plant facilities
need to be demonstrated.,
Close out
• Performance Guaranteed Test
 Confirm that all systems are performing their intended / specified functions and
operating efficiently.

• Operational Acceptance Certificate


 After successful completion of PG test an Operational Acceptance certificate shall be
issued.,

• Defect liability
 The equipment supplied shall be free from defects in design material & workmanship
for the period agreed as per the contract.

• Final Acceptance Certificate


 After successful completion of defect liability period, Final Acceptance certificate
shall be issued, and the bank guarantees shall be released.

 Technological innovation or improvement may be carried out to all facilities
during the extended period..,
