Pharmacist
• Hospital pharmacists: Responsible for the ordering,

medicines in hospitals. They must also ensure an
adequate supply of medicine.
• Retail or community pharmacists: Supply prescribed
and over-the-counter medicines to the general public in a
retail pharmacy (such as a local chemist), and give advice
to customers on the safe use of medicines and possible
side effects.
• Industrial pharmacists: Work in pharmaceutical
companies where they help to discover safe and effective
new drugs, develop them into effective medicines, and
market the finished product to customers.
Lab Technician
1. Conducting and supporting scientific investigations and
experiments.
2. Planning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments
and trials.
3. Recording and analyzing data.
4. Demonstrating procedures.
5. Collecting, preparing and/or testing samples.
6. Maintaining, calibrating, cleaning and testing sterility of the
equipment.
7. Providing technical support.
8. Presenting results to senior staff.
9. Writing reports, reviews and summaries.
10. Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical
developments.
Physiotherapist
1. Helping patients recover from accident, illness or injury.
2. Organizing therapeutic physical exercise sessions.

4. Using specialist techniques such as electrotherapy and
ultrasound.
5. Collecting statistics.
6. Writing reports.
7. Liaising with professionals such as doctors and nurses.
8. Providing education and advice about exercise and
movement.

• Orderlies
 Responsible for caring for elderly, disabled, mentally ill, or injured

bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Drivers
Dispatched to homes and other locations to transport seriously
ill or injured persons to the hospital for medical attention.
