Ecology is the study of interactions between

organisms and their environment.

Ecology Derived from the Greek words oikos
("habitat") and logos ("science").
Ecology is defined as the study of both
interactions between living things and the
interactions between living things and their
environment. The term ecology was first put
forward by Ernst Haeckel (1834 - 1914). [1] In
ecology, living things are studied as a unit or
system with their environment.
