E-INVITATION IN INDIANCULTURE

• There are two types of invitation, in example
formal invitation and informal invitation.
• The formal invitation is written for professional
purposes with a specific objective in mind.
• uses simple language, that can be easy to read
and interpret.
• The Informal invitation is written to friends and
relative for personal communication and uses a
casual or an emotional tone.
• It's more to Electronic Invitation (E- invitation)
which can send/share digitally through social
media such as email, WhatsApp, Facebook and
so on. It is a paperless invitation which is in the INTRODUCTION
format of Image, Video, and GIF.

LITERATURE
REVIEW
• The younger generation is more using e-
invites than older generations as they are
more comfortable in traditional ways. This
can be attributed to the statements of
several researchers namely Ladone Wilson
and Dr. Kate.

METHODOLOGY
Method Research Used
• Quantitative method.
Research Instrument
• The Questions are measured by a Likert scale
(from a one-point and up to a five-point
scale). Mostly, only one answer was possible.
For some questions, the response category
“yes” and/or “no” was also an option. There
are several questions with the response
option “other” including a free-text field for
explanatory comments.
Respondent Selection
• The questionnaire conducted on 30 Indian
older generation people which aged between
45-65 years old.

Sampling Technique Used
• This survey was conducted in University
Utara Malaysia(UUM). Simple Random
Sampling was used to select the participants
which is Indian older generation people
