Adverbs of intensity/ degree tell
us about the intensity of
something. Adverbs of intensity
are usually placed before the
adjective, adverb or verb that
they modify, although there are
some exceptions. The words
“too”, “enough”, “very”, and
“extremely”
Adverbs of Modifying Example
