• The bottom of the ore pass in haulage level contains

loading chute lined with steel plate equipped with

pneumatically operated gate

• The ore loaded in to trucks or trains 3-12 ore cars

located at haulage shaft

1. Present-day ore-pass dimensions are impeding an
increase in productivity of men and faces and in the rate
of the mining-out process.

2. Optimum ore-pass chute dimensions are as follows:

width 2.0 m and height of passage orifice 1.2–1.3 m. For
such chutes there should not be more than two cases of
ore sticking per shif. To attain these chute dimensions,
the height of the haulage working must be increased to
2.8 m. This would increase the scrapermen's productivity
to 180–200 t/shift.

optimized, there will be less dilution of the ore and a rise

in its metal content. This considerably enhances the

technical and economical performances of the mine
