HUMAN VALUES & HUMAN RIGHTS

HUMAN VALUES can be classified as respect, tolerance,

acceptance, generosity, caring for others and the planet,
peace, dignity, sharing a sense of belonging, integrity and
love.

To keep a check all over the world that human values are
not ignored human rights came into being.

Human rights come natural to a human being when born

whether or not recognized by society & to see it is properly
enforced there are proper laws in every country
NEED FOR HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY
After world war 2 a strong need was felt for a peace making organization on a
global level . As a result UNITED NATIONS ORGANISTAION was formed in
1945 and later in 1948 universal declaration on human rights was adopted by
UN.

UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HR consists of a preamble and 30 articles.

30 articles consists of various rights like right to life, all people are equal before
law, all human people are born free and equal in dignity, freedom of thought,
right to education right to work and protection against employment.

We can see that fundamental rights ,directive principles of state policy and
fundamental duties enshrined to us by our constitution have been derived
from universal declaration of human rights.
BEAUTIFUL QUOTE
“Whatever career you may choose for yourself -
doctor, lawyer, teacher - let me propose an avocation
to be pursued along with it.
Become a dedicated fighter for civil rights.

Make it a central part of your life. It will make you a

better doctor, a better lawyer, a better teacher.

It will enrich your spirit as nothing else possibly can.

It will give you that rare sense of nobility that can only
spring from love and selflessly helping your fellow
man.

Make a career of humanity.

Commit yourself to the noble struggle for human

rights.
You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater
nation of your country and a finer world to live in.”
THESE words were said by Martin Luther King, Jr.
.American civil rights leader.
