“We fit together like the StIcky

ends of RecoMbinant DNA”
I am draggy, a chinese dragon. I know I look a little bit Relaaax~ This dragon
weird but I will give you the map to rescue Princess will not hurt us but
Bubblegum , if you will help me understand the parts of rather give us a brief
my body. introduction on the
topic

Waaah! A
dragoooon! Finn
what would we
do???
Oh! I know
about that!
Let’s give it a
try!
Thank you! Pew! I really am
weird. It’s really not realistic but I
know with that creative mind
that you humans possess, you
can make this possible thru
RECOMBINANT DNA!!

Explain it
well Finn.

Dragon is an imagination creature, which has

deer's antlers, camel's head, hare's eye, snake's
neck, carp's scales, eagle's claws, tiger's paws;
and ox's ears.
As we fight all the enemy to save princess
bubblegum, I would like to point out a few basic bits
of information. This things we won’t dwell on, but I
do want to make sure you know what they are.

Great day,
Did you know that, Recombinant DNA (rDNA) is a form of artificial DNA that is created by combining
two or more sequences that would not normally occur together through the process of gene splicing.
And the word clone is a population of identical organisms derived from a single parental organism.
For example, the members of a colony of bacterial cells that arise from a single cell on a petri plate
are clones. Molecular biology has borrowed the term to mean a collection of molecules or cells all
identical to an original molecule or cell.

Are you ready to fight all the enemies?

This mission contains with the following
activities

Activity 1: Huntteriffic
In this activity you need to find all the words at the left side in the jumbled letters inside the big box. Go find all the words inside the box to proceed in the next station.

Activity 2: Compatibility test

In this activity you need to choose the best answer. The column A are the questionnaire and the column B are the answer.

Activity 3: Combined Pics

In this activity there are pictures by numbers and you need to combine it to get the answer.

Activity 4: 4pics 1word

In this activity you need to identify all the 4 pictures to become the best answer. There are missing letters to complete the words.

Activity 5: Spot the difference

In this activity you need to find the difference between of each pictures. You need to encircle the the difference of the photos
Here is the map that I gave you, as I said a while ago, this will be your guide in rescuing Princess Bubblegum.
Be careful because each activities are guarded by an enemy. All activities must be answered. Don't dare to skip
because in every station you will get items that will help you rescue Princess Bubblegum. Good luck!

MAP
Good day! We are the SNAPpy CLONE from Happy World so it means we bring happiness and justice.
SNAPpy CLONE is a group of GMO products who’s expert on making new creatures that you’ve never
seen before. And we’re here to guide you and your friends to your Adventure station.

All you need to do is to follow our instructions and trust us so that your adventures will be happy and
safe. Godbless!

1 First 3 Third

• You need to study the map for you • Lastly, Answer the questions
to know the location where you guarded by Andrew the chin.
go. 2 Godbless! The princess is waiting
• And of course read the lesson and Second for your help.
instruction before you answer the
test given by each station. • Answer all the activities correctly
for you to beat the antagonist
who’s guarding on each station.

Helppppp!!!
Wait for us
Princess
Bubblegum we
will save you
Like what I’ve said before, I will help you to finish this task. The
word that you’re going to find are connected in Recombinant
DNA. So Let’s start!

Direction: You need to hunt the given word in the puzzle.

It will never be
yours!
WAHAHAHAHA!

1. GENETIC
2. ADAPTABILITY
3. BIOINFORMAICS
4. DNA SERVICES
5. PLASMIDS
6. GENES
7. DNA TILES
8. OPTIMAL
9. LARGE CONSTRUCTS
10. MOLECULES
Direction: In this activity you have to choose the answer from
Column B to column A in able to complete and answer the questions.

Column A Column B
1. Which of the following gene targeted nice have shown that
a gene product once through importer is not vital to a. Liposome transfer
survival.
2. The first a fug produced using recombinant DNA b. 1970’s
technology was
3. Consist of recombinant ant cell containing different c. Codons for a mature mRNA
fragment of a foreign genome.
4. A multicellular organism that caries a specific genetic a. DNA
change in each cell because of an intervention at the
fertilized egg stage is a b. Diabetes
5. Which gene transfer technique involves a tiny needle is
used to inject DNA into a cell locking that DNA sequence f. Micro injection
6. The first drug produced using recombinant DNA
technology is used to treat g. Transgenic

of the
8. A c DNA version of a gene includes h. Genomic libraries
9. Recombinant DNA technology methods began in the i. Insulin
10. Which gene transfer technique involve the use of a tatty
bubble to carry a gene into a somatic cell j. Y Collagen
Now, it’s time for the 3rd activity and it is so easy. I
know that you can answer this and beat Hunson.

Direction: Study the ff. pictures. Then combine the following

pictures to create a new one word.

1.)
Re + + N + =

2.)

I + =

3.)

+ + =
Oh Hi Finn! By the way this is
the continuation of the task .

Arggggghhhh!!!

4.) + =
+

5.) =
+ +
You just have to identify the word
from the clues given in the 4
pictures in each number. I gave you
some clues to make it eaaaasy.

4 pics, 1 code

1. _ _ _ _ v _ 3. _ e _ _ _ _ _ _s 5. S _ _ _ _ _

2. _ i _ _ _ _ _ 4. _ _ _ _ _ d
Marceline is so
tricky! I didn’t know Do you think I
she have an could be that
additional activity. easy? NEVEEER!

Fact or Fiction
Direction: State if the given statement is a fact or a fiction. If the statement is a
fiction, change the underlined word to make it a fact.

1.) The first drug produced using recombinant DNA technology is used to treat Heart Attack.

2.) Genetic engineering manipulates gene products at the level of the RNA.

3.) The first drug produced using recombinant DNA technology was Insulin.

4.) Gene targeting is done on an egg cell.

5.) Recombinant DNA technology methods began in the 1970’s.

You need to find the difference between
the pictures of row A and row B by it’s
number. I’ll give you some tip, Each
number has a 4 difference. Go find it
now!

Direction: Encircle all the different spot in the pictures.
