MUPL MUMBAI
 DV
1) DV is the valve, its for Safety purpose, which is using in
MUPL_MUMBAI.
2) DV is connected in Refinery fire water of 10” Pipeline to MUPL
Pump House.
3) These are the Instruments connected in DV such as SOV,
Pressure Switch, Pressure Gauge, Air Plunger, Ball Valve, NRV,
1/2” Air Tube.
 ACTIVATION POSSIBLE OF DV
1) Any 2/3 Logic of Gas Detectors will trip the BP & MLP (if
activated means).
2) Interlock of Air Pressure Low (PSL) in Instrument Air Line – It
will stop the DV valve in remotely and then PSL keep in Bypass
mode and give the close command to DV.
3) If we Open the Manual Value in DV means, It also will Activate
the DV.
4) If we pressed the EPB means (Either Control Panel / Local
field), It will Activate the DV.
5) PLC HMI Remote Activation in control Room, open command
DO Signal will go to DV and then It will Activate.
6) Once the DV is activated means, PSH switch will activate, we
find out it in control room.
