Major Achievements in Killa Abdullah in 2015 & 2016

• CBV/CHV campaign started in all Ucs of three tehsil (KA, Gulstan and Chaman) from May
2015.
• 2 Afghan Refugee Campaigns included in CBV Campaign: Jungle Camp1&2
• Micro-Census was completed in all UC s of CBV/ CHV areas
• % of missed children due to NT has decreased due to involvement of exclusively female
teams who have easy access to the houses of conservative communities.
• Successful implementation of IPV campaigns in 2015 & 2016.
• No Polio case was reported from Killa Abdullah for the last 22 months (last case reported
in Feb.15).
• % of Positive Environmental Samples decreased from 83% (5/8 samples) in 2014% to
13% (3/24 samples) in 2015 to 19% (4/21 samples) in 2016.
• Increased the target age for OPV from 5 to 10 years children at Friendship Gate to
minimize the risk of polio virus circulation in Kandahar-Quetta Block.
Plan of Action

• All CBV/CHV teams will revisit their areas in the afternoon to reach and cover
50% of recorded missed children on daily basis.
• Teams will do the post catch up activities for the whole months to cover the
remaining missed children.
• CHV Supervisors and UCSOs must compile the list of NA and Refusal Children on
daily basis and the compiled list should be shared with DPCR.
• Tracking and proper recording of HRMPG in the district
• District Refusal Coverage Committee will cover the refusal whenever and
wherever required
• District administration will support in the coverage of chronic refusals on daily
basis
