MYNTRA STYLBIZ

“Acquisition of the offline fashion shopper”

2

MAIN IDEA
Mobile Trial Van
The trial van would be targeted towards the joint families
which form a major chunk in Tier II and III cities. We can
check for their preferences beforehand by arranging a
telephonic phone call. Therefore, we can reduce the
cost of carrying a lot of products and only carry a
selected range of products from the preferences
mentioned by the families.

MAIN IDEA
Mobile Trial Van (Contd.)
However, final bookings would only be made through the
Myntra app which would be facilitated by the sales
person helping the customers with the trials. While using
the Myntra app registration would be necessary thereby
gaining access to the customer data which can be later
used to provide them with better deals.

MAIN IDEA
Next Hurdle
Our second hurdle would be that in Tier II & III cities,
customers seem to trust and prefer local shops with
whom they have a long-standing relationship and
therefore they have that unfettering faith in them to help
them with customized range of products and fittings.
Therefore, it is imperative that we take them into
confidence since going against them and simultaneously
penetrating the market hardly makes any sense.

IDEA
Artificial Intelligence
By using artificial intelligence, we would try and map out
customer with similar liking for the products and then
decide upon time slots to give enhanced experience to
the customers in the shops which they already trust and
prefer.

IDEA
Retailers’ Loyalty
We will try and a get a counter at the local dealer’s shop.
This mode works on the dynamic manner so that in tier2
and tier 3 cities the trust that the retailer’s loyalty is a key
to obtaining a major share in the market. Now through
the Myntra app the customer can figure out at which
shop the product is available for trial.

PROPOSAL
The shops shall have both Myntra and non-Myntra
products. However, if a customer selects a non-Myntra
product they have the option to check if similar or
substitute products are available in the same store for
additional discount. If the customer buys a non-Myntra
product then the shopkeeper can pay Myntra a
commission for directing the customer to their shop and
the same can be passed on to the customer at a
discount.

8

PROPOSAL
However, if the customer selects a non-Myntra product
the shopkeeper shall get the benefit of the service for
free as well as receive a commission. The shopkeeper
shall help the customer place the order through the app.
Myntra again gets access to the customer data. If Myntra
receives the order through the retail shop the product
gets delivered directly to the customer with retail being
given a proportionate commission.

SOLUTION
Also, each retailer will also be rated by the consumer
which would provide an incentive to the retailer to
provide an enhanced experience to the customer. This
could be a very important strategy to build the trust of
the consumer and lead to exponential increase in
revenue. This would also help Myntra to convert the
customers into loyal ones.
