Introduction
Batuan also known as Binucao in other parts of the country, is a
sour fruit often used for cooking Filipino delicacies like Sinigang, Paksiw
and many more. This fruit can only be found in selected places here in
the Philippines two of which is Masbate and Sorsogon.
We all know that us Filipinos like our food tasty, which is why we
have decided to conduct a feasibility study of processed batuan as an
acerbity ingredient called “Batuan Mix” to provide Filipinos an
altertnative taste instead of the usual tamarind flavor.
