 How long have you stayed abroad?
INTERVIEWEE 1: 10 years
INTERVIEWEE 2: 8 years
 What are the purposes for you stay there?
INTERVIEWEE 1: I want my family to have a good future, and I’m married to
a British man.
INTERVIEWEE 2: For the future of my three children.
 What were your most unforgettable experience there? How will you describe
them? Good or Bad?
INTERVIEWEE 1: The multicultural adaptability and cultural barriers,
communication skills especially we are using American
English. I always phoned my husband every time I
encountered new words. Some are friendly and some are
not. GOOD because you improved your self with
different cultures. BAD because I’m being away with my
family. Homesick.
INTERVIEWEE 2: I talk to some people I don’t know how to speak in
English.
 How will you compare the Philippines with other countries?
INTERVIEWEE 1: Well many to compare. Salary, hospitalization (free all
medical test and no doctors fee.) you will only pay for the
prescriptions.
INTERVIEWEE 2: The people in our country are more hospitable.
 Do you want to go back abroad or to other countries in the future? Why
or why not?
INTERVIEWEE 1: I want to go back to Philippines. Because of my
family
INTERVIEWEE 2: I still want to go back abroad.
 Does your boss treat you well?
INTERVIEWEE 1: Yes
INTERVIEWEE 2: 100% yes, they are both very good employer.
 Why did you choose to work abroad than to work here in our country?
INTERVIEWEE 1: Because I’m married to English man, and it has better
opportunities.
INTERVIEWEE 2: Because of high salary.
 What most interests you about your job?
INTERVIEWEE 1: Empathy and compassion. It feels the desire to help
and care. But sometimes it hurts you so much because
your parents they need your love and care but can't .
INTERVIEWEE 2: Earning money.
 How do you handle your stress at work?
INTERVIEWEE 1: Based on my personal experiences, I always keep my
self motivated and productive to fight for the stress.
INTERVIEWEE 2: Watching news in the Philippines.
 How many hours do you work a day?
INTERVIEWEE 1: I worked mostly 7 hours a day.
INTERVIEWEE 2: 17 hours.
