can use IT to confront the competitive forces faced by a business.

competitive advantages to a business.

agile competitor or from a virtual company.
 Explain how knowledge management systems can help a business gain

 Information Systems is a complex concept, for some IT people is very
important, more if we are talking about the organization, function, goals
and the effectiveness of an enterprise.
 The article that made by Nicholas Carr’s on 2003 was wrong for the
business people, the main reasons to punish the article.
 The author’s main point is information technology is nothing more than
the infrastructure of modern business, similar to railroads, electricity, or
the internal combustion engineering advances that have become too
commonplace for any company.
 Advantages
 The real world case present the advantages of IT in words of the most
important and influents persons of the business field around the world,
and that is a big support.
 Because for these personalities the IT functions keep their companies safe,
complete and in perfect functionality, for them Information Systems can
be the key of a great work team, the solution for the worst mistakes and
the support, help and defense for the competition.
 Technology is a great and big advantage for any corporation, is the end of
the effort and the skills of creative and smart minds in the workforce.
 Some of the interviewers said that maybe the principal cause of this article
is that the author doesn’t have a correct definition of technology and
maybe was confused about concepts.
 The author also said that companies waste too much money for establish
IT in their companies.
 However the business men see IT not like a huge spend, they see IT like a
great and important investment and I agree with that, IT is not only
necessary, is the base for all the companies, for the simple reason that is
efficient, fast and allow enterprises be actualized and keep the same one
in movement and inform.
 Conclusion
 It is not only important have technology in a corporation, is also
fundamental know how you can apply it with success and in a flawless
way.
 The key is to know how, when and what you going to implement in your
company taking IT like the base of all the organization.
 Like we know technology is not the most important thing but is the basic
element to work with, we need to understand as well that human
knowledge can’t be replaced by a computer.
 That the human effort and skills always going to be an important part of
the business field, negotiation, persuasion, well communication and
direct treat are things that none of the most sophisticated machines can
give.
 These aspects depend of us and technology is the tool to make it work
satisfying the needs and complex requirements of a business.
