for giving us this opportunity to work on a Seminar as a part of my
curriculum.
Thank you for wonderful guidance and encouragement given towards me
to move ahead. I am highly privileged to be a part of the field of Mobile and
Web Development. I am grateful and thankful to the supportive Faculty.
Above all, I am very thankful to the management which was established
by the high profiled intellectuals for the cause of Technical Education in
modern era. I wish that NIRMAAN ORGANISATION sooner becomes a
deemed institute and produce uncountable young engineers and present them to
the modern technical world.

 Technology in Communication
First Communication were through letters, then it was replaced by telephone in
1876, they were very complicated and costly.
The first portable phone was made in 1973, it had 1 G technology with low
quality, as the time is passing its getting developed to VOLTE, and to 5G,
some countries at present has already reached 5G also and working on 8G.
 Technology in Connectivity
1. First Connections were made at the time of world war II.
2. They were very complex and unreliable.
3. But now it is changed to Wireless by using Bluetooth, ZigBee, Wave, Wi-Fi,
Li-Fi, G.S.M., G.P.R.S., Broadcasting, etc.
4. This makes our communication easier.
5. This technologies are fast, reliable, compact and cheap.
 Technology in Entertainment

In 1810 first CRT device was made, then later it is developed into T.V. .
Soon it became Plasma T.V., L.C.D.’s, L.E.D.’s screens and now
O.L.E.D. are the latest T.V.’s .

First radio was made using 9 transistors in 1950. Now bandwidth has
increased and quality of signal has been increased.
 Technology Of Automation
Robots :-
Robots are machines which are made up of computers and A.I. look like human.

A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) :-

It is software which is programed to think dynamically.AI is parallel to human
thinking.
C.N.C (Computer numerical control) :-
These are robots which are programmed to a task repeatedly at higher speeds
correctly. These are used to fix things in industries.
 Technology in Security
Rockets, Satellites and Rovers :-

Satellites are useful for getting information on weather, communications,

location services, research on cosmic objects, military applications.
Radars :-
Radars are useful for space, aeronautics, military and weather.
Advantages of Technology :-
They are
 Fast, saves time .
 Reliability .
 Compactivity .
 Portability .
 Multiple Jobs .
 They make life easier .
 Useful for gaining
Knowledge .
 Technology is also used for
automatic vehicles and their
maintainace .
 Useful in agriculture .
Disadvantages of Technology :-
• Sometimes these are uncontrollable, unsafe.
• These do cause unemployment.
• These are distractive.
• Makes us lazy and unhealthy if habituated.
• We are getting addicted and ignoring our
family and neighbors.
• Increase in loneliness .
• Insomnia ( Lack of Sleep ) .
• We might loose our privacy and security due to hackers.
• We are getting so dependent on technology in such a way that we are
losing our skills.
• Due to radiation from towers, small birds are dying.
• Usage of Refrigerators and A.C.’s causing pollution due to C.F.S.’s and
• that depletes Ozone layer .
Conclusion :-
Technology must be used according to the requirement only, if extremely used it
will be Catastrophic.
Skills must be improved to be fast, and overcome unemployment or automation.
Technology is to be used for a better way but to be used in a controlled manner.
