Objective of the Law

To end all armed threats in the Philippines

and recognize that internal socio – political
stability rests upon healing of rifts that the
divide the nation by promoting participatory
governance, synergy of government
development efforts and enhancing
participation of LGU’s
 POLICY CONTENT & GUIDELINES

6.1.D. Barangay Task Force (BTF):

1. The Barangay Task Force (BTF) shall be

organized through a Joint Resolution
created by the Barangay Peace and Order
Committee (BPOC) and the Barangay
Development Council (BDC).
2. The Barangay Task Force (BTF), with the Punong
Barangay as its Chair, shall have the following duties
and responsibilities;
a. Take an active role in the implementation of the
Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP);
What is RCSP?

The Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) was

formulated in order to strengthen the CSP initiatives of the
military and making the effort Local Government Units (LGU)
driven. With the implementation of the RCSP, Local Chief
Executive (LCEs) will be champions of the RCSP through
their programs, projects and activities (PPAs) that are geared
towards institutionalizing sustainable peace and
development.
What is RCSP?

The Retooled Community Support Program

(RCSP) is an inclusive program that aims to
address identified issues of the community by
closing the governance and development gaps
through provision of needed government
Programs, Projects and Activities (PPA’s) while
ensuring that development is sustained and
peace is being promoted.
b.Ensure social preparation and participation of
the community members in all the phases of the
RCSP implementation

c. Ensure the delivery of services and inclusion

of the policies, programs, projects, services,
and activities in the local plans based on the
identified solutions by the members of the
affected communities;
d. Provide relevant feedback and recommend
measures to the City/Municipal Task Force
(C/MTF) on the risks and opportunities
surrounding the implementation of the RCSP.

e. Take the lead in the citizenship building and

community participation mechanism to guarantee
sustainability of Retooled Community Support
Program (RCSP) implementation.
