Hierarchy (by selecting
New Org Hierarchy)
depending on the
requirement.
Create Template Select a Hierarchy Level
and create a template

Create Tasks Select the organizational
structure and add tasks by
selecting right click
Create Tasks Offset in Days :

The day when the task is to

be performed is specified in
relation to a key date valid
for a template or task list.
The offset specifies how
many days before (negative
offset) or after (positive
offset) the key date the
task should be performed. If
the task is to be performed
on the same day as the key
date, the value of the offset
is zero.
Transactions and Programs
Tasks/Program

Transaction

Transactions have to be executed manually while tasks/programs are set up

as background jobs.

Insert dependencies among Tasks and programs

In this case ,the task “Period closing” will be executed only after the
transaction “IO Settlement” has been successfully completed

Task List
Task List is a subset
of the activities we
have assigned in the
template. For example
one task list can be
for month end
activities. while
another can be for
year end activities

Date when task list should be executed

Activities are scheduled only
after the task list is released

Specify the execution date and the closing type for the task List

Once theTasks
Task list is release on the screen you will find the icon is activated for
scheduling the activities. Schedule the same by clicking (Selecting all the task)
and then schedule .
