• Anemia has a serious negative impact on growth and
development during adolescence, and decreases the
ability to concentrate and learn lower school
achievements in adolescent
• Decreases energy and physical strength resulting in
reduced physical capacity and work performance,
• Impair the immune response thus making them
more prone to infections.
