KELAB PENCINTA ALAM (KPA)
Established in 1991

In collaboration with Ministry of


Education, Malaysia

Began with pioneer of 12 schools in


Klang Valley

As of Janury 2016, total membership


of 383 schools all over Malaysia &
increasing
KPA aims to encourage interest,
understanding and involvement in
various environmental activities and
conservation efforts amongst the
school-going generation

HOW KPA WORKS?
• KPA division of MNS HQ does organising, liaising
work between the schools, Ministry of Education,
KPA (MNS HQ) State Education Department and coordinators for
National, Zonal & State level programs organised
by MNS

• Coordinate state level school programs for KPA


MNS State • Act as medium of information transfer between
State Education Department, Schools and MNS

Coordinators • Compiles Annual Report for state level & sends to
MNS HQ

• Conducts KPA programs for their school

To ensure effective development of KPA membership, State


Education Coordinators are appointed for all states.

These education coordinators act as catalysts for expansion


of KPA in each state and strengthen relationship between
schools, State Education Departments, and MNS

Education Coordinators organise various state level


programs at their state, advises schools on activities that can
be conducted and update schools on information from MNS
& State Education Department

serve as a hub for environmental
education for the public especially
children.

KSNP is an ideal place to escape to
where a greater appreciation for the
environment among the public can be

ecoCare serve as a resource centre with
facilities to promote awareness and

to many species of flora and fauna
