 Definition of Book Chapter

A chapter is one of the main divisions of a piece

of writing of relative length, such as a book of prose,
poetry, or law. A chapter book may have multiple
chapters and these can be referred to by the things that
may be the main topic of that specific chapter.
Purpose of Book Chapters

To divided between some idea

and theme that will be explain
in the book itself.
 Characteristics of Book Chapter

 Chapter can be numbered or tittle or both.

 The structure and language features of book chapter
depend on the type of the book.
 In thesis, book chapter consist of ( Chapter 1
(introduction), Chapter 2 (Literature Review),
Chapter 3 (Methodology), and Chapter 4 (Discussion
& Result))
 In novel, book chapter usually named such as ( Meet
with new friend, Go to the mall, Busy!, Forget you,
We are best friend). A chapter in a novel based on
author’s desire.
