PURPOSE OF THE STUDY AND RESEARCH
QUESTIONS
This activity aims to identify what is often applied in methodologies, areas of
studies, technology tools, most commonly used keywords, work of cited authors,
the impact of student's learning, and challenges.
METHODOLOGY FOR RESEARCH DESIGN
Research is carried out through a long process and may require researchers to
follow certain steps to obtain valid research information.
There are 4 steps to be followed.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGIES EMPLOYED
IN FLIPPED CLASSROOM RESEARCH
This analysis found that the methodology most frequently used
in flipped classroom research was a mixed method (quantitative
and qualitative).
Examples of instruments for collecting data such as tests,
questionnaires, documents, and interviews.
For example a researcher named McLaughlin et al (2013) used a
survey and asked for a broad explanation.
Flipped classroom vs. traditional classroom ( Beapler et
al.,2014)
Researchers need an appropriate keywords so their journal can be identified and cited
rapidly.
There are total 81 keywords from 20 journals.
There are 7 most searched keywords for Flipped Classroom research. These are :
1. Flipped classroom
2. Active learning
3. Blended learning
4. Flipped learning
