Today group and YES BANK, the new age Indian private
sector Bank, announced the second µBusiness Today SME
Awards 2010¶ on October 28th, 2010 in New Delhi, India.

 The awards were presented at the hands of Honorable


Minister - Minister of Road Transport & Highways Mr. Kamal
Nath, Founder and CEO of Yes Bank Mr. Rana Kapoor &
Aroon Purie, Editor-in-Chief, India Today Group. The award
was received by Mr. Kailash Katkar, CEO & Mr. Sanjay
Katkar, CTO, of Quick Heal Technologies.

 This Survey and the Awards platform has been conceptualized


to analyse trends and best practices, and recognise and reward
achievers, innovators, and enablers, who have played a pivotal
role in promoting and supporting the Small and Medium
Enterprises (SMEs) in India. This year Business Today received
entries from more than 64000 small and medium enterprises
across India among which 13 winners were selected for the
awards.
 The final winners were identified through a thorough analysis of
short listed applications by an eminent jury comprising Mr.
Dinesh Rai, Secretary-Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises since retired, Dr. Amit Mitra- Secretary General,
Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry
(FICCI), Mr. Parag Patki - CEO, SME Rating Agency of India,
Mr. Vishnu R. Dusad, Managing Director Nucleus Software and
Mr. Rana Kapoor, Founder MD & CEO, Yes Bank.
