I'm standing there

On a balcony in summer air

See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns
See you make your way through the crowd
And say, "Hello"
Little did I know
That you were Romeo, you were throwing
pebbles
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you, "Please don't go, " and I said
Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say "Yes"

DID YOU KNOW?
☻Some historians have questioned
whether William Shakespeare actually
existed, considering the scant
evidence on him.
☻At the age of 18, he married Anne
Hathaway (26 year old).
☻They had 3 children (Susanna, Judith
and Hamnet).
☻ By the early 1590s, William Shakespeare was a
managing partner in the Lord Chamberlain's
Men, a popular theater company.
☻ In 1599 Shakespeare and his business partners
started their own theater company called the
Globe.
☻ He is said to have written around 37 plays and
154 sonnets.
☻ He is also known to have contributed over two
thousand words to the English language.
In Shakespeare’s time:
☻ Theaters were sometimes closed to try to stop
the threat of plague.
☻ All of the actors were men.
☻ You could get into the Globe theater for a penny,
and stand during the whole play (groundlings) ,
or pay a bit more for a seat.
☻ If the play wasn’t good or exciting, the audience
throw things at the actors.

and Juliet (1562).

which two lovers from rival families plan to
meet in secret, but through a
misunderstanding, end up killing
themselves.
