• Climate change refers to seasonal changes over a long
period of time.
• Worldwide, people are paying serious attention to climate
change.
• Because so many systems are tied to climate, such
as, people, plants and animals live, such as food
production, availability and use of water, and health risks.

Natural Factors
• Volcanic eruptions
When a volcano erupts it throws out large
volumes of sulphurdioxide (SO2), water
vapour, dust, and ash into the atmosphere
• Ocean current
The oceans are a major component of the
climate system. Ocean currents move vast
amounts of heat across the planet.

Natural Factors
Earth orbital changes
The earth makes one full orbit around the
sun each year. It is tilted at an angle of
23.5 to the perpendicular plane of its
orbital path. Changes in the tilt of the earth
can lead to small but climatically
important changes in the strength of the
seasons.
Forest fire
A wildfire is any uncontrolled fire in an
area of combustible vegetation that occurs
in the countryside or a wilderness area.

Human Activities
There is strong evidence that the climate
change over the last half-century has been
caused largely by human activity, such as the
burning of fossil fuels and including agriculture
and deforestation."

Effect of greenhouse gases.
sakil.iubat@gmail.com 9
Globally, power generation
emits nearly 10 billion tons
of CO2 per year.
Worldwide, motor vehicles currently emit well over 900 million metric
tons of CO2 each year.
sakil.iubat@gmail.com 11
Earth's total forest area continues to decrease at about 13 million hectares
per year.
