I. The Problem
•Background of the study
The purpose of this is to help you
prove the relevance of your topic
2. Interviewing
You can collect credible result from this data
gathering procedure
•Interview
To provide more insight and understanding of the
level of perception of Bs Math toward English
Language on 25th February, 2010, a formal interview
was conducted between the researcher and the Bs
Math students. Although the interview followed a
formal guide, the respondents were given the
opportunity to express their views independently and
were probed further through questions that arose from
the discussion. For their protection and privacy, an
interview consent form was signed that outlined the
usage of the data collected. The interviews were audio
recorded and notes were taken to enable further
analysis and interpretation without losing details.
3.Surveying
invloves gathering responses from subject
through a written meduim.
• Survey
The researcher will conduct a questionnaire
rating scales which includes the selected BS
Mathematics Major Students’ profile such as sex,
dialect used at home, preferred language to be
use at school and reading materials available at
home and the level of perception of the
respondents toward English language.
The researchers will ask permission from
the respondents’ subject professor with
regards to the floating of the prototype
questionnaire. With the permission of proper
authority, the researchers will distribute
personally the questionnaire to the subjects.
After the questionnaire was filled up by the
students, the researchers will make a
summary of the information and the data will
be analyzed and interpreted statistically.
•Research Design
Three types of Research Design
1. Descriptive Design
- to describe the characteristics
of relevant groups
Experimental Design
2. Exploratory Design
is systematic and flexible and
allows the researchers to
investigate whatever survey he
or she desires
Exploratory Research Design
According To Hughes (2004), most pharmacy
inventory decisions involve replenishment: how much to
order medicine, when to decide to order medicine, and
when to place the order. There are three costs associated
with pharmacy inventory; (1) carrying costs, (2) shortage
costs, and (3) replenishment costs. For instance, the costs
associated with running out of a medicine product used in
critical care might well involve increased morbidity and
mortality, clearly an unacceptable situation.
However, the basic tenets of these inventory control
systems should be examined by hospital pharmacy
managers and applied when appropriate. The availability of
microcomputers and relatively powerful spreadsheets will
increase the utility of complex models of inventory control
that are too complicated for manual calculations.
3.Casual Design
determining the nature of the
relationship between the casual
variables and the effect
predicted
